Privacy Policy

Last updated 9 October 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how The Foodieess ("we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal information when you visit https://thefoodieess.com (the "site"), and the choices you have.

1. Who we are

The Foodieess is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. Contact us about privacy at [email protected].

2. What we collect

Emails you send us

Your email address, name (if given) and the content of your message.

When you use our party menu request form we collect: your name and email address (required); your phone number (optional); the occasion, number of guests, dietary mix, spice preference and event date (optional) you select; any notes you add, such as allergies or kitchen setup; the date and time of the request; and confirmation that you are 18 or over and consent to us using these details.

We use this information only to prepare and email your suggested menu and to reply to any follow-up. We do not use it for marketing, add you to mailing lists, sell it, or share it with advertisers. Requests are delivered to our email inbox and a copy is stored on our web server in a folder that is not publicly accessible. If you include allergy or health information in your notes, you choose to provide it and we use it only to tailor your menu.

Information collected automatically

Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs (for example IP address, browser, pages requested and time) for security and maintenance. If we enable analytics or advertising, those providers may collect device and usage information via cookies, as explained below.

3. Cookies, analytics and Google advertising

We store your cookie choice in your browser. With your consent where required, we may use Google Analytics to measure site usage and Google AdSense and Google Ads to show and measure ads.

Read how Google uses information from sites that use its services. Change your choice any time via Cookie preferences, and see our Cookie Policy.

Where the GDPR or UK GDPR applies, we process menu requests and optional cookies on the basis of your consent, which you can withdraw at any time; site operation, security and replies to emails on the basis of our legitimate interests; and records required by law on the basis of legal obligation.

5. Sharing

We share personal information only with providers who help run the site (hosting, email and, if enabled, analytics and advertising), or when required by law. We do not sell personal information.

6. Retention

Menu requests and emails are deleted within 12 months, or sooner on request, unless we must keep them for legal reasons. Server logs follow our host's retention period. Analytics and advertising data follow the providers' settings.

7. Your rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or receive a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict processing, and to withdraw consent. California residents may have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including to know, delete, and opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information; we do not sell personal information. Email [email protected] to make a request. You can also complain to your local data protection authority.

8. Children

The site is intended for a general adult audience. Menu requests may only be made by people aged 18 or over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children; contact us if you believe a child has provided information and we'll delete it.

9. Security and transfers

The site uses HTTPS, and stored requests are kept in a restricted folder. No system is completely secure. Our providers may process data outside your country, with appropriate safeguards where required.

10. Updates

We'll revise this policy if our practices change and update the date at the top of this page.
